In 1991, amidst the upcoming touristic boom that approached Playa del Carmen, the García Jiménez family, directed by Don Fernando and originating from the community of Chunhuhub, Q. Roo start in the tourism sector selling original souvenirs over the flagship 5a Av., thus sharing part of the local traditions and practices to visitors.
